Desperately trying to make up for wasted time …
Hello, beautiful reader. Welcome to the wonderful world of me!
On this site you will be able to find many fabulous stories and incredibly interesting articles on a wide variety of topics, ranging from chocolate making, tuxedo wearing and financial investing to studying the Bible, dancing the tango and going on an expedition to the Highlands of Scotland in order to buy a kilt. And, if I have my way, there’ll be something about me becoming an international film star, too.
Despite the ever advancing age, I consider myself to be not past it yet, although I am quite aware that that might well be nothing more than wishful thinking. In order to prove to myself that I am definitely not past it yet, I shall be navigating my way through a series of unnecessary and potentially painful challenges and embarrassing experiences, taking me to exotic, far-flung destinations across the … er … north of England, risking life and limb for my own ego and for your entertainment.
Don’t know me that well? Here are some noteworthy facts to peruse at your leisure:
- I’ve visited Poland, Portugal and Peru, but I’ve never been to Peterborough;
- I ran my first marathon at the age of forty-seven;
- my favourites include Oor Wullie, sweet and sour chicken and the Bible;
- I would love to create something truly beautiful;
- if I could shake anybody’s hand, I would shake the hand of Billy Connolly.
